Consent Checklist

Before we can really dive into playing the game, we need to decide what kind of game your group wants to play. By default Dungeons and Dragons involves violence and conflict with forces that commit evil deeds, but that doesn’t mean the game must force the players to confront issues and topics that can be deeply upsetting to them. The consent checklist is intended to head this off before it becomes an issue during play.

You’ll receive a fillable PDF of this checklist as an attachment on the email confirming your reservation. Please complete the form and email a copy back to your GM. Completion of this form is not required, but it helps the GM to determine where your party’s boundaries are. Any information conveyed non-anonymously in this checklist will remain strictly between the player and the GM. If something comes up during play that is upsetting and wasn’t covered on a consent form, your GM will pause the game and discuss the issue.
